The CFMoto 450CL-C impresses in almost every respect and proves that an A2 bobber needn’t be expensive or lack character. The 270-degree twin-cylinder engine pops like a big V2, the low-slung chassis takes the edge off for beginners, and through the bends the bike is more agile than its looks would suggest. There are a few rough edges – from the display to the rough throttle response at walking pace – but none of them seriously detracts from the harmonious overall impression. Ultimately, what counts most with this cruiser is the grin on your face at 80 km/h, rather than any top speed, and the 450CL-C delivers that reliably.
