The compact displacement belies the sporting ambitions. The 250cc 4-stroke is a racy racing machine. It requires concentration and demands speed. The revs organise wildly upwards and the engine offers a frighteningly high level of performance. The new bike will convince racers on the stopwatch out of the box and is certainly faster and better than all previous models thanks to the high-quality chassis. Beginners, however, might be a bit overwhelmed and better reach for the 350.

Practical chassis setup for a wide range of uses

Great traction

Precise lines

Low vibration level in the saddle

Robust overall appearance

Very practical details

Low weight

Great ergonomics in the saddle

Plenty of room to move on the bike

High-quality chassis

Powerful 4-stroke engine with low weight

Engine suits sporty riders very well.

Plastics in the boot area quickly appear very worn

Prices are normally always a matter of opinion - in this case, however, the whole range seems good but expensive across the board

The recessed grip on the seat is too far forward

Stand has to be folded out somewhat fiddly

For beginners, the rev-happy and aggressive response is very demanding.
