Honda PCX 125 2020
The Honda PCX is a typical Honda scooter: quality and workmanship are right, the design looks modern and the compact scooter gets decent acceleration from a standstill from less than 12 hp. Even the most modern technologies are not neglected: the "Idling Stop" system switches off the engine when the scooter is stationary and saves fuel - very little, but the green idea alone is the right step. Only the unharmonious chassis spoils the ride comfort a little, but the luggage compartment comes up trumps again with practical values by swallowing a full-face helmet. The price of just under 3,000 euros in Germany and just over 3,000 euros in Austria is therefore quite acceptable.
Piaggio Beverly 400 S 2021
The Piaggio Beverly 400S for 2021 is noticeably stronger and visually more mature. The everyday hero can cope with tight city traffic just as well as with brisk country road kilometres and occasional motorway excursions. If you can do without a colour TFT display, the Beverly 400 is a fun scooter at a fair price.
