Honda PCX 125 2020

The Honda PCX is a typical Honda scooter: quality and workmanship are right, the design looks modern and the compact scooter gets decent acceleration from a standstill from less than 12 hp. Even the most modern technologies are not neglected: the "Idling Stop" system switches off the engine when the scooter is stationary and saves fuel - very little, but the green idea alone is the right step. Only the unharmonious chassis spoils the ride comfort a little, but the luggage compartment comes up trumps again with practical values by swallowing a full-face helmet. The price of just under 3,000 euros in Germany and just over 3,000 euros in Austria is therefore quite acceptable.

The Vespa Sprint S 125 is a very typical Vespa that scores with its splendid design and high build quality. The lively engine also pleases with modern ingredients that ensure low consumption and good driving performance. Of course, the low weight of 130 kilos ready to ride also plays a role. The driving dynamics are peculiar due to the small wheels and the high seating position, but you quickly get used to it and enjoy the pronounced manoeuvrability. The braking performance is up to the high standard, which, however, has its price - a very high price.
