Triumph Rocket 3 GT 2019

Triumph Rocket 3 GT 2019

The more comfortable version of the two new Rocket 3 models convinces with more comfort features such as heated grips, windshield and a more comfortable seating position - and therefore with a more universal design than the Rocket 3 R. However, the GT also has the charismatic "ship's diesel" on board, which behaves very sociably despite the incredible torque of 221 Newton metres. The neutral handling even makes the bike, which weighs over 300 kilos, a motorbike for winding country roads - but it should not be too tight. If you want to go on tour with the largest standard engine, you certainly can't go wrong with the Rocket 3 GT.

Yamaha R1 2019

The 2020 R1 model - already available from September - is an evolutionary step that will benefit both the trackday racer and the Yamaha SBK team. The amateur is most likely to benefit from the truly perfect electronics and will also appreciate a little extra power.

powerful engine

clean response

in the right hands a very fast track bike

perfectly tuned electronics

ABS system not 100 per cent satisfactory
