Its greatest strengths are its emotional, powerful yet precisely controllable engine, the dreamlike sound it produces, a potent suspension and its agile handling. As a sporty naked bike, it does not focus much on comfort and its long travel and high seat can cause problems for people with short legs. The biggest challenges, however, are its rarity at the time of purchase and then the lack of a manufacturer who feels responsible for spare parts and service.

The Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 is a true highlight of the 2018 season. Its appearance is unique and the technology under the pretty design is also something to behold. The combination of 75 hp from the well-known single-cylinder, paired with a superbly shifting quickshifter, creates an insane amount of fun on the road. However, the engine needs revs and not everyone will like the riding position. The Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 is therefore a motorbike that you have to get completely involved with. But if you can do that, a lot of fun is guaranteed.
