Although newer twin-cylinder models are superior in terms of smooth running and comfort, the 690 Duke offers an immediacy and character that only a large single-cylinder can deliver. As a used motorbike, it has proven to be surprisingly stable in value and durable - provided you pay attention to regular maintenance.

What works for the "small" Scrambler 800 models is now perfected for the Scrambler 1100: A powerful, high-torque "old school" engine that fits the concept wonderfully, paired with a great braking system and high-quality chassis components. This makes the Scrambler 1100 extremely comfortable on the one hand, but also very sporty and superior to any cafe racer in tight cornering. The look is also right, the 1100 models were designed with much more attention to detail than the 800s. As expected, the price is therefore much higher.
