Pros and Cons in comparison

Pros and Cons in comparison

Suzuki SV 650 2019

Suzuki SV 650 2019

The Suzuki SV 650 is accompanied by a long history of success that is sure to continue for a long time. Its supple V2 impresses with very smooth response and plenty of torque. Compact dimensions help to make the motorbike look very compact. This will be very convenient for beginners. The chassis also scores with playful handling. Unfortunately, the braking effect is not at the level one would expect from such a powerful vehicle.

Smooth engine

playful handling

great chassis

Brake too weak

Triumph Tiger 1200 GT PRO 2023

Triumph Tiger 1200 GT PRO 2023

The Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Pro comes with a powerful in-line three-cylinder engine and plenty of features. The all-round carefree package on two wheels is easy to control, but clearly favours a more leisurely pace. If that doesn't bother you, you'll enjoy the smooth electronic suspension, good wind protection and plenty of comfort features. However, the newly developed Tiger 1200 is (still) a little out of round in some areas, as can be seen, for example, from the stronger load change reactions and high-frequency vibrations on motorway stages.

Linear, predictable power delivery

comprehensive electronics package

good wind protection

comfortable riding position

top brakes

High-frequency vibrations at certain engine speeds

rather sluggish handling

load change reactions

grips unfavourably positioned for pillion riders
