Starting with the Yamaha MT-07 2016, it is equipped with a 689cc in-line twin engine that produces 75 horsepower and 68 Nm of torque. The engine is known for its agility and easy handling, making it a joy to ride. The bike has a relatively low weight of 182 kg, which further enhances its nimble nature. The steel frame provides a sturdy and reliable foundation for the bike. The front suspension consists of a telescopic fork, while the braking system features double disk brakes. In terms of weaknesses, some riders have found the chassis to be a little soft, and the footrests can drag in certain situations. Additionally, there are some plastic parts that are considered to be of lower quality, and the telescopic fork is not as exciting as other options on the market. However, the bike makes up for these weaknesses with its aggressive angular look, powerful brakes, comfortable seating position, throaty sound, and an extensive and easy-to-read display.

Moving on to the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS 2020, it features a 765cc in-line triple engine that delivers an impressive 123 horsepower and 79 Nm of torque. The front suspension is an upside-down telescopic fork, providing enhanced performance and control. The braking system is equipped with excellent Brembo M50 brakes, ensuring reliable stopping power. The front and rear tires have the same specifications as the Yamaha MT-07, with a width of 120 mm and a diameter of 17 inches. The wheelbase measures 1405 mm, slightly longer than the Yamaha MT-07, which may provide added stability. The seat height is set at 825 mm, offering a slightly higher riding position. The fuel tank has a larger capacity of 17.4 liters, allowing for longer rides without refueling. In terms of weaknesses, some riders have found the menu navigation to be somewhat complicated, and the connectivity system can be bugged at times. Additionally, the adjustment screws on the fork are poorly accessible, which may make fine-tuning the suspension more challenging. However, the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS compensates for these weaknesses with its roaring sound, high-quality standard, quickshifter with blipper as standard, ABS and traction control, and its sporty look.

Triumph Street Triple 765 RS 2020

As before, the RS top model is indeed the most desirable of the Street Triples. In addition to the usual playful handling, the super-direct Brembo brakes and the lively character of the three-cylinder engine, there is now a more bulbous mid-range, upgraded electronics as well as a Brembo M50 brake and the once again sharpened appearance. Thanks to the very sporty Pirelli Supercorsa SP V3 tyres, trackdays are indeed a serious issue, and the now standard shift assistant with blipper function greatly increases the incentive to switch to the new model. A wonderful fun machine for both country road and track!
