Pros and Cons in comparison

Pros and Cons in comparison

BMW S 1000 R 2021

BMW S 1000 R 2021

It's really impressive how BMW always manages to make good motorbikes even better. The sporty S 1000 R with M package and carbon rims looks a bit threatening at first. But even in 2021, the S 1000 R serves up high-tech and performance in a grandiose, usable dosage. The machine rides precisely, handles well but is not tippy. The engine fires out of the corners, but does not overtax. A damn fast motorbike!

Quickshifter good, but not perfect, sound still a bit intrusive

still with vibrations in handlebars

Ducati Streetfighter V4 S 2022

Ducati Streetfighter V4 S 2022

The problem of the Streetfighter V4 S with Euro4 engine, namely no power in the lower rev range but explosion in the upper rev range, has been largely rectified with the update to Euro5. Although the disgusting 208 hp are still only available at 13,000 rpm, the SF V4 S is now also acceptable at lower revs. Ergonomics and handling are still good, and the electronic Öhlins suspension is at its best. The brute Brembo Stylema stoppers again celebrate the penchant for the racetrack. A perfect poser bike that now also works on the country road, and on the racetrack anyway. Only the all-too-loud sound should be curbed a little.
