Zündapp was a German manufacturer of motorcycles, mopeds, and bicycles. The company was founded in 1917 and was known for producing reliable and high-quality machines. Zündapp was one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers in Europe in the 1930s and 1940s. During World War II, Zündapp produced military motorcycles for the German army. After the war, the company faced financial difficulties and was eventually acquired by another German motorcycle manufacturer, which ceased production of Zündapp motorcycles in the 1980s.
