Founded in 1921, Moto Guzzi has a long history. Initially with scooters, mopeds and light motorbikes in its model range, the brand from Italy made a name for itself from the 1980s onwards with its now typical V2 engines. Also typical of Moto Guzzi is the cardan drive, which is favoured by the V2. Furthermore, the cardan scores with low maintenance and long durability. As part of the Piaggio group, the design is, as befits Italy, correspondingly emotional. The model range consists almost exclusively of retro bikes, in the form of the naked bikes V7 and V9, the cruiser California and a touring enduro that stands out in its comparatively modern appearance. The community is very important to Moto Guzzi, which is why several official meetings are held every year to strengthen the community of Guzzi riders.
