KTM 1390 Super Duke GT: 190 hp for touring
The KTM 1390 Super Duke GT, first presented back in 2024, returned to the spotlight with the announced dealer launch in early 2027. According to KTM, its 1,350cc V2 produces 190 hp and 145 Nm. The package includes semi-active WP suspension, a new 8.8-inch touchscreen TFT with offline map navigation, and adaptive cruise control. A standard adjustable windscreen, the integrated SP Connect mount, and reworked seat ergonomics are meant to make longer stages more comfortable. The GT pairs this with a manual six-speed gearbox.

KTM 1390 Super Duke GT EVO shifts with AMT
With the GT EVO, KTM gave the sport tourer a variant with Automated Manual Transmission. The AMT allows both manual shifting and fully automatic operation, in each case without a clutch lever. Engine and basic equipment match the GT. The key difference therefore lies in gearbox operation, which is meant to take the load off especially when pulling away, maneuvering, and on long tours.

KTM 1390 Super Duke R with new cockpit
The KTM 1390 Super Duke R got two new color variants for 2027, in orange and black. On the black version, the frame is also finished entirely in black. Technically, the focus was on a new 8.8-inch touchscreen TFT with offline map navigation, new handlebar switches, and a revised riding mode concept. Up front, Brembo HyPure brake calipers are now used, which KTM says improve precision and control. The R retains its manually adjustable WP APEX suspension.

The R EVO also received the new colors, the larger cockpit, the navigation, and the HyPure brakes. Its difference from the R remains the semi-active WP suspension with electronically adjusted damping. When it comes to gearbox choice, it's worth taking a close look at the name: the R EVO sticks with a conventional manual gearbox. The AMT belongs to the GT EVO.
