With the new Benelli TRK 602 X, the brand from Pesaro takes its storied TRK lineup into the next generation. It is set to replace the TRK 502—a model that once propelled Benelli to the top of sales charts in several markets and firmly established the brand in the crossover segment.

Design and Ergonomics: Evolution of the TRK Line

Visually, the TRK 602 X draws on the design language of the larger TRK 702 and TRK 902 models. Its lines are more fluid, clearer, and more cohesive, with all surfaces crafted to be smooth and free of visible edges or transitions. The upper tank area seamlessly merges into the beak and side panels, further sharpening the TRK silhouette. The narrow side panels beneath the seat are also integrated into the new, streamlined design, creating a smooth transition to the rear.

The seat height is 825 mm, and the overall package is designed to feel manageable and accessible—especially for riders seeking a versatile adventure bike with moderate dimensions.

New 554cc Twin: More Displacement, More Torque

The heart of the TRK 602 X is the newly developed 554cc twin-cylinder engine, known from the Benelli Tornado 550. This liquid-cooled twin, featuring a 270-degree crankpin offset, delivers a robust sound and smooth power delivery. Benelli claims 56 HP at 8250 rpm and 54 Nm at 5500 rpm. The torque is significantly higher across the entire rev range compared to the previous 500 models. A new airbox and a revised exhaust system are designed to enhance throttle response and torque curve.

An A2-compliant version is also on the way.

Benelli TRK 602 X: Chassis and Brakes

The frame remains faithful to the steel trellis design but is enhanced by a new tubular aluminum structure at the front, which stabilizes the cockpit and headlight mounting. A lighter rear frame reduces weight and supports ergonomic balance. Up front, a 43 mm upside-down fork with 140 mm of travel is employed, while the rear features an adjustable central monoshock with 173 mm of travel, mounted on an aluminum swingarm.

The Brembo system features dual 320 mm discs with radially mounted four-piston calipers at the front and a 260 mm disc at the rear. ABS comes as standard. The bike is fitted with 19-inch and 17-inch alloy spoked wheels, sporting 110/80 and 150/70 tires, respectively, highlighting its all-around capability between street and light off-road use.

Features: Comprehensive Despite Entry-Level Position

Even though the TRK 602 X is considered an entry-level model in Benelli's crossover lineup, its features are extensive. Standard equipment includes:

  • 5-inch TFT color display with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
  • Navigation with optional map view or turn-by-turn mode
  • Two riding modes ("Normal" and "Sport")
  • Switchable traction control (TCS)
  • Switchable ABS
  • Handguards with integrated indicators
  • USB port
  • Center stand
  • Crash bars and aluminum engine skid plate

Optional extras include aluminum panniers and top case, heated grips, and a heated seat (each with three settings).

Launch and Variants

Benelli plans to launch the TRK 602 X at the end of 2025. Additionally, there will be an A2-compliant version, making the model appealing to beginners as well.
