The Yamaha TMAX 25th Anniversary 2026 is set to be available as an exclusive special edition for just one year. With this version, Yamaha pays homage to the world's first sport scooter, which has sold over 340,000 units in Europe since 2001. Design in Black MAX Tradition
The matte dark gray metallic paint with light gray "boomerangs" gives the TMAX 25th Anniversary an exciting appearance. Particularly striking is the red, double-stitched seat with an embossed anniversary logo. The design is further enhanced by red 3D TMAX emblems, an anodized engine guard, and machined black alloy wheels with contrasting edges.
Familiar Technology, Elegantly Packaged
Technically, the TMAX 25th Anniversary is based on the 2026 TMAX. Its EURO5+ compliant 560 cc twin-cylinder engine delivers 48 horsepower and offers two riding modes—Sport and Touring. The fully automatic transmission ensures seamless acceleration, which Yamaha claims is reminiscent of a motorcycle. The chassis, featuring an aluminum die-cast frame, upside-down fork, and long swingarm, promises both stability and agility. It also comes with dual disc brakes at the front (267 mm) and a 282 mm disc at the rear for precise control.
Electronics and Features of the TMAX 25th Anniversary 2026
The cockpit features a 7-inch TFT display with three display modes. Through the Yamaha MyRide app, riders can pair their smartphone, record tours, or view statistics such as speed, lean angle, and fuel consumption. Additionally, the Garmin Motorize app provides a full-fledged navigation system that can display traffic, weather, and POIs directly on the screen.
The anniversary edition remains a typical TMAX: comfortable, spacious, and practical. The adjustable backrest and ergonomically designed seat are intended to make longer rides more pleasant. Under the seat, there's an illuminated storage compartment that Yamaha claims can hold a full-face helmet or two jet helmets. Additionally, the Smart Key system allows for keyless operation of the engine, seat, and fuel cap.
Genuine Accessories and Customization
Yamaha offers a wide range of genuine accessories for the TMAX 25th Anniversary—from comfort parts and luggage solutions to aesthetic enhancements. The online configurator allows you to design the scooter virtually and combine your customizations.
In Germany, Yamaha suggests a non-binding price of €14,449, including ancillary costs and VAT.
