Get Ready for the Hottest New Bikes at EICMA 2025

Ducati rolls into EICMA 2025 with a fleet of revamped and new models. Leading the pack is the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS, featuring the Desmosedici Stradale engine, 180 hp, a shorter gear ratio, Öhlins EC 2.0 suspension, and forged wheels. A dry clutch and a 30,000-kilometer valve clearance check complete the technical package.

The Ducati Diavel V4 RS also grabs the spotlight. This limited edition model uses the same V4 engine, delivering 182 hp, and features exclusive details like carbon components, titanium exhaust tips, and Brembo Stylema monoblock brakes.

The Ducati Monster enters its fifth generation. The new 890cc V2 engine produces 111 hp, delivers 91 Nm of torque, and reduces the weight to 175 kilograms. A monocoque frame and hollow swingarm ensure stiffness while cutting down on mass. Visually, the new Monster is designed to hark back to the original 1992 model.

The Multistrada V4 Rally gets an update in the adventure touring segment. Ducati introduces a new suspension algorithm, revamped combined braking system, smart aerodynamics, and enhanced long-distance comfort.

With the Panigale V4 R, Ducati showcases the pinnacle of their sports division. The revised engine meets Euro 5+ standards, delivers 218 hp (235 hp with the racing kit), and combines new aerodynamics with the Ducati Racing Gearbox. It also features a fully mechanical Öhlins suspension and Brembo Hypure braking system.

In addition to production models, Ducati is hopefully showcasing concept vehicles and potential pre-production bikes—possibly including the off-roaders Desmo Enduro 450 and Desmo MX 250. The Ducati DesertX and what appears to be a Hypermotard V2 have also been spotted as test mules.

At EICMA 2025, Honda unveils its first fully electric naked bike: the Honda WN7. It's designed to offer a range of 130 kilometers, quick charging capability (20–80% in 30 minutes), and a weight of 217 kilograms, comparable to a 600cc combustion engine bike. The price for Austria is set at 14,990 euros.

Following this is the Honda CB1000F, based on the engine from the 2017 Fireblade. With 122 hp, 103 Nm of torque, cornering electronics, and a modified Hornet 1000 frame, it's poised to be a sporty all-rounder with a classic look.

Spy photos based on the Honda CB1000 suggest a possible touring model that could be positioned between the Hornet and the NT1100.

Familiar model lines will also receive new color updates, which will be showcased in Milan, including the Rebel 1100, Forza 750, ADV350, CB500 models, and NT1100.

At EICMA 2025, CHIGEE makes a strong statement with a product line clearly aimed at riders who take their safety setup seriously. The focus is on the new CG Radar with BSD mirror, which includes a tailgating warning feature to indicate how close a vehicle is following behind you. Demonstrated at their stand, it appears to be a well-integrated warning system that further enhances riding safety. The radar is compatible with other Chigee products and also functions independently. Detection is quick and precise, with clear rear and tailgating alerts, and the integrated strobe provides visibility that most OEM mirrors simply can't match.

In parallel, the XR-1 Dash Cam showcases what practical motorcycle technology should look like in 2025: 1080p at 60 fps on both channels, wide-angle view, and additional technical details like an IP68 housing and built-in eMMC storage eliminate the common pitfalls of traditional dashcams.

Yamaha is bringing several model updates and technical enhancements to Milan. After a twelve-year hiatus, the Yamaha WR125R makes a comeback. The single-cylinder engine delivers 15 hp at 10,000 rpm, featuring variable valve timing and a KYB suspension with an 875 mm seat height.

The Tracer 7 GT Y-AMT modernizes the popular mid-range model. It features Ride-by-Wire, new assist systems, a TFT display, enhanced ergonomics, and a revised frame. The semi-automatic Y-AMT transmission will be added from 2026.

The Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid also receives a comprehensive electronics package, including an IMU, riding modes, slide control, and cruise control. The suspension remains the same with a 46-mm USD fork and 220/230 mm travel, but the linkage has been revised, and weight has been reduced.

In the urban segment, Yamaha showcases the NMAX 125 with a new electric CVT transmission featuring two modes: Town & Sport, and the ability for manual downshifting via a button.

Kawasaki introduces the Z1100 as the new flagship of the Sugomi range. The 1099cc four-cylinder engine delivers 136 hp and 113 Nm of torque. Standard features include ride-by-wire, quickshifter, traction control, and lean-sensitive systems, with a ready-to-ride weight of 221 kg. The SE version comes with an Öhlins shock absorber, Brembo monoblocks, and steel braided lines.

The Z650 S arrives as an ergonomically and visually updated mid-range Z model. A higher seat, wider handlebars, new footpeg position, and a TFT display with traction control are designed to enhance everyday usability and comfort.

After nearly two decades, the KLE500 makes a comeback. It uses the 451cc twin from the Z500, delivering 45.4 hp and 42.6 Nm of torque, and is equipped with 21-inch tires and 180 mm of front suspension travel to ease entry into the adventure touring segment.

BMW showcases several concepts in Milan. The Vision CE Scooter is based on the CE 04, but features a roof and is designed to self-balance. It's still uncertain if this concept will go into production.

With the Concept RR, BMW offers a glimpse into the next generation of superbikes with around 220 hp. The show might also feature the production version of the new F 450 GS, whose concept we admired last year. Additionally, there are updates across various model lines.

In 2025, Triumph is rolling out several model updates and making a real MX debut. With the TF 450-X, the brand enters the motocross segment. The single-cylinder engine delivers 62.4 hp, equipped with launch control, traction control, and two mappings.

In the retro segment, the Scrambler 900 gets a modernization—with Showa suspension, an aluminum swingarm, spoked wheels, and a new braking system. The engine remains unchanged with 65 hp and 80 Nm.

The Speedmaster and Bobber also receive updates with a larger 14-liter tank. Additionally, there's a tech upgrade for all Bonneville models starting with the legendary T120, which will now be equipped with an IMU.

In the middleweight category, Triumph presents the Trident 800, positioned above the 660 model, offering more power for sporty road riders at an attractive price.

Suzuki celebrates the 40th anniversary of the GSX-R series with the GSX-R1000R. The engine remains fundamentally the same but receives new camshafts, injection, cylinder head, and piston design. With 195 hp and 110 Nm, the new generation aims to balance tradition and technology.

The old display remains, but the IMU and modern assist systems are new. Winglets and Brembo monoblocks are offered as options. Beyond that, Suzuki hasn't shown us anything else yet, but we're sure there's more to come!

Aprilia has yet to release specific details on new models, but following the Euro 5+ transition in 2025, which showcased several innovations, there might be fewer new unveilings at EICMA 2025. However, the focus on the brand's sporty bikes might bring us a special edition or new paint scheme.
