New SENA 60S with Unlimited Range

Thanks to Wave Intercom technology, the SENA 60S Intercom offers for the first time a connection via VoIP (Voice over IP), allowing riders to communicate with unlimited range and an unlimited number of users. As long as mobile network coverage is available, the group stays connected at all times - without the range limitations of Bluetooth or Mesh technologies.

The system switches seamlessly between Mesh and VoIP depending on availability, ensuring uninterrupted communication. This seamless integration is an ideal solution especially for long-distance rides or groups spread out over a wide area.

The new SENA Wave App offers even more possibilities for riders. Thanks to built-in geolocation, the app displays the positions of group members on a map in real time. It also allows connecting with other riders within a 2-kilometre radius. Besides voice communication, the app also offers a chat function for exchanging texts and images, as well as the ability to add friends via QR code and send an SOS emergency call in case of emergencies.

If no mobile network connection is available, the SENA 60S automatically switches to Mesh Intercom™ 3.0 technology to keep communicating with other SENA 60S devices. A connection is also possible with intercoms using Mesh 2.0 technology, such as the SENA 50 series, Spider or 30K.

Thanks to the new Mesh 3.0 algorithm, the SENA 60S offers significantly improved audio quality and connection stability. In public networks, users can choose between nine channels, while in private mode up to 24 participants can communicate over a distance of 2 kilometres. This range can be extended to up to 8 kilometres if at least six riders are spaced 1.6 kilometres apart. Battery life in this case is 16 hours.

Another highlight of the SENA 60S is the collaboration with Harman Kardon. The second generation of Harman Kardon speakers delivers, according to SENA, high-quality sound. The 40mm speakers offer up to 130% more volume compared to the previous model, ensuring clear communication and a top-notch music experience.

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) plays a central role in the SENA 60S. The new Artificial Intelligence Noise Reduction (AINR) technology filters out ambient noise, ensuring crystal-clear communication even in noisy environments. The AI also improves the device's voice control, enabling precise recognition of voice commands even under difficult conditions.

The SENA 60S offers many more thoughtful features. With OTA (Over-The-Air), firmware updates can be performed wirelessly via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or the mobile network. The IPX7 protection rating guarantees water resistance, and the Dynamic Motion LED shows the device's status at a glance. The device also has a built-in LED light, which proves handy when, for example, searching for keys in the dark.

Thanks to the magnetic mounting system, the intercom can easily be switched between two helmets, and the interchangeable covers in four colours (dark chrome, metallic silver, pearl white, glossy black) allow individual customisation to match the helmet.

The SENA 60S is available for pre-order from 1 November 2024 for €399. The device will be officially unveiled at EICMA in Milan from 5 to 10 November 2024. SENA will be represented there in Hall 15 at stand M49.
