Field Grows for Inaugural Season

Harley-Davidson is ramping up preparations for the inaugural Bagger World Cup. In collaboration with MotoGP, additional milestones for the 2026 season have been announced, including expansions of the starting grid, details on the race format, and the launch of ticket sales.

The preliminary lineup has been bolstered by the addition of the Indonesian team NitiRacing. This team from Asia joins the ranks of the already confirmed Saddlemen Race Development from the USA, Cecchini Racing Garage from Italy, and Joe Rascal Racing from Australia. NitiRacing marks the first Indonesian team to compete in the Bagger World Cup.

More Riders and International Interest

The starting grid receives additional expansion through Joe Rascal Racing. The Australian team has received approval to participate with three riders instead of two. This brings the current lineup to four teams with a total of nine riders. A detailed roster will be released in the coming weeks.

Fixed Race Format for 2026 Confirmed

The race format for the 2026 season has also been officially confirmed. For the Grands Prix in the USA, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Spain, and Austria, a three-day schedule is planned. Friday will feature two free practice sessions, Saturday will host the qualifying and the first race, and the second race will be held on Sunday.

The Italian Grand Prix in Mugello will follow a different format, with free practice, qualifying, and both races taking place on Friday and Saturday.

Dunlop Named Official Tire Partner for the Racing Series

Dunlop has been confirmed as the official tire supplier for the 2026 Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup. The manufacturer will not only provide racing tires for all participants but also handle the complete tire service at the tracks. Specially developed slicks in sizes 120/75 R17 for the front and 200/65 R17 for the rear will be used, tailored to meet the high-performance and weight demands of the race baggers. Additionally, Dunlop supports the series with a contingency program that offers prize money and performance bonuses for riders and teams.

Ticket Packages Available for All Race Weekends

In tandem, Harley-Davidson has launched the sale of special ticket packages for all six race weekends. These packages include access to a dedicated Harley-Davidson grandstand, special motorcycle parking, paddock and pit lane access, as well as an exclusive fan package. The races and ticket sales are part of the MotoGP events in Austin, Mugello, Assen, Silverstone, Aragón, and Spielberg, where the season finale will also be held.

Technical Foundation of the Racing Series

The Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup is designed as a global brand racing series, exclusively featuring race-modified baggers based on the Grand American Touring platform. These Road Glide-style machines boast over 200 horsepower, extensive weight reductions, and specially developed suspension, braking, and electronics packages, offering a unique technical and visual addition in the context of MotoGP.
