Schuberth has expanded its premium jet helmet lineup with the J2. The helmet meets the ECE 22.06 standard and aims to combine safety features, comfort, and optimized aerodynamics.
Special chin piece for added safety
The SCHUBERTH J2 uses a lightweight composite shell manufactured using "Direct Fiber Processing" technology and reinforced carbon material. This construction ensures high impact absorption and low weight. The helmet features a removable chin piece that provides additional protection and can be taken off when needed.
Schuberth J2 aims to deliver comfort
To ensure efficient aerodynamics, the helmet was extensively tested on the road and in the wind tunnel. A newly developed neck pad helps reduce noise. At a speed of 100 km/h on a naked bike, the helmet reportedly generates only 88 dB(A), according to Schuberth.
The J2 is equipped with an adjustable ventilation system, air channels in the EPS, and airflow at the neck. The breathable and antibacterial inner lining is manufactured to OEKO-Tex100 standards.
