The Yamaha YZF-R1 is closer to a racing machine than ever before. The engine shines with lightness and agility. The seating position surprises positively and the handling is radical but still "suitable for the masses". With its own character, more torque in the mid-range and first-class electronics, it sets new standards in the high-performance Naked segment. The overall package of brutal performance, excellent suspension and practical everyday use makes it one of the best naked bikes ever - and at a surprisingly fair price.
