The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R 2021 and the Yamaha R7 2021 are both supersport motorcycles that offer exhilarating performance and sporty riding experiences. While they share some similarities in terms of engine type, suspension, and tire size, there are notable differences between the two models.
Starting with the engine specifications, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R 2021 is equipped with a powerful inline-four engine with a displacement of 998cc. It produces an impressive 203 horsepower and 114.9 Nm of torque, thanks to its high-revving nature and a compression ratio of 13. On the other hand, the Yamaha R7 2021 features a smaller inline-two engine with a displacement of 689cc. It generates 73.4 horsepower and 67 Nm of torque, offering a more moderate power output. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R 2021 clearly outperforms the Yamaha R7 2021 in terms of engine power.
In terms of suspension, both motorcycles feature upside-down telescopic forks at the front and swing arm suspension with a monoshock at the rear. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R 2021

Kawasaki offers a mature overall package with the Ninja ZX-10R in the 2021 model year, which with the new front end also really looks like 2021. The bike offers surprisingly good space for the rider and you feel comfortable in the saddle. The rev-happy engine leaves nothing to be desired - except perhaps more discipline in the part-load range. To make the project a success, Kawasaki relies on high-quality ingredients: Showa suspension, Öhlins steering dampers, Brembo brakes with 330 discs and high-quality electronics. Thanks to the good electronics and the superior engine, the Ninja ZX-10R even cuts quite a figure on country roads - as long as you are willing to suffer a little in terms of seating position due to the concept.
Yamaha R7 2021

Despite the rather idiosyncratic combination of the sensible 73.4 hp mid-range power unit and the extremely aggressive, sporty look, the R7 is by no means a sheep in wolf's clothing. The performance, which is somewhere between the R3 and the R6, turned out to be much stronger in practice than the pure values on paper would suggest, and in terms of geometry, chassis, brakes and tyres, Yamaha's engineers have really done their homework. On top of that, the Yamaha R7 has all the qualities to have a lot of fun out-of-the-box on a compact race track like the Pannoniaring, for example, even without a big investment. But of course it feels better on the country road, and that's where it belongs in the first place, in our opinion. In view of the overall package, the purchase price is more than fairly priced - so it's not a problem that the quickshifter is not included and has to be purchased as an option.
