Harley-Davidson Sportster XL 883 N Iron 2015

Both the new Sportster XL 883 Iron and its larger sister Sportster XL 1200 X Forty-Eight benefit from the revised suspension - the rear shocks dampen more sensitively and are infinitely adjustable in spring preload. The front forks also do a better job thanks to the progressive spring winding, and sagging is efficiently prevented. The fat 49-millimetre fork on the Forty-Eight in particular also makes a good visual impression.

Whether as a beginner's bike or a second bike, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 offers a hell of a lot of motorbike at a more than fair price. But one thing is clear: if you are looking for lap times or home track records, you should get another motorbike. Everyone else is guaranteed not to go wrong with the attractively designed Meteor 350. It's a great bike that could well become a blockbuster without any real competition on the market!
