The Austrian brand Brixton is becoming a full-range supplier, but for the time being the core business remains the 125 - and the Cromwell 125 is a really successful classic bike! The small 125cc single-cylinder is solidly built and fun to ride. For the safety-conscious, there is either a combined braking system or ABS for a small extra charge. The seating position is really comfortable and the suspension set-up is also fine for longer rides. The look is extremely coherent and the price is a hammer!

Yamaha's high-tech rocket is still a technological leader in 2016. Radical, polarising and fascinating, it sets powerful lap times. It is closer to the race bikes than the other 1000s. In the meantime, no one grumbles about the front. Without the "M", it is the best choice for those who don't need Öhlins anyway, or the best choice for those who are planning a racetrack conversion anyway and like to install "normal" Öhlins hardware without electric stuff.
