Husqvarna Norden 901 2026

The Husqvarna Norden 901 2026 is a sturdy and characterful adventure bike with plenty of grunt in the mid-range. Its 889-cm³ in-line twin-cylinder engine accelerates strongly from mid-range revs, remains revvy and, combined with its neutral handling, ensures plenty of fun on winding roads. The low-slung fuel tank helps to keep the bike’s weight well under control off-road, and the optional Explore mode offers highly adjustable traction control. The WP suspension is stable, but feels less responsive and slightly more bouncy than that of the Ducati. The wide seat, the sharper knee angle, the exposed riding position and strong air turbulence around the helmet detract from comfort on long journeys. The extra cost for the top-of-the-range off-road electronics is also a drawback. However, for those seeking a balanced compromise between riding pleasure, stability, touring capability and genuine off-road potential, this is still a compelling overall package.
CFMOTO 800MT-X 2025

The CFMOTO 800 MT-X impresses with a refined engine, excellent suspension control and handling that, thanks to its low centre of gravity, feels far lighter than the specifications would suggest. In practice, it rides in a balanced, confidence-inspiring manner and offers exceptional features for the money. Minor shortcomings in the electronics, the quality of the controls and a dip in torque in the mid-range remain, but these do little to detract from the strong overall impression. All in all, it is an honest, versatile adventure bike that doesn’t quite reach premium level, but represents a genuine and serious alternative in terms of both price and riding dynamics.
