The new R1 is a motorbike full of high-tech and innovation. The performance offered on the race track is impressive. Because the technical gadgets translate into riding fun and lap times. Nevertheless, the bike demands an active rider to avoid becoming exhausting.
Yamaha XSR900 GP 2024
Credible styling in the style of the 500 GP machines from around 1990 meets state-of-the-art components from the CP3 modular system. For the suspension components, Yamaha used high-quality, fully adjustable parts from KYB. The fork is the same as that used in the MT-09 SP. The sporty basic set-up is perfectly suited to this pretty retro racer. The standard electronic features are also impressive. All riding aids are lean angle-dependent, the quickshifter works first-class and there is even cruise control on board. If you can cope with the sporty riding position, you can enjoy a dream bike. Apart from the brakes, which could have a little more bite, we have no real criticism to make.
