Yamaha XSR700 2024

Can do everything but nothing well? A clear NO! The lively and agile retro bike with a sufficiently powerful engine can be a good all-rounder, which is also visually appealing and tempts you to heat up the corners. Overall, I find the bike fantastically nimble and sporty and agile, even as a woman. The engine works better than expected and the riding position is more than comfortable. In terms of maximum lean angle, however, there would have been some air at high rpms. I think that many people will continue to choose this bike because there is simply not much you can do wrong.

With the Scrambler, Ducati has pushed a machine to the starting line that will be hard to beat in its traditional retro territory. Because it's not only incredibly stylish, but also works great in terms of the sport.

Engine: simply perfect, wonderful throttle response, linear development, no load changes, worthy punch from below

Chassis: sporty and firm, no soft slap

Optics: simply beautiful

Thin handlebars: a tapered aluminium handlebar would be more visually appealing
