CFMOTO 800MT-X 2025

CFMOTO 800MT-X 2025

The CFMOTO 800 MT-X surprises with a cultivated engine, a lot of control in the suspension and handling that seems far lighter than the data would suggest thanks to its low centre of gravity. In practice, it rides in a balanced, confidence-inspiring manner and offers a lot of features for the money. Minor weaknesses in the electronic logic, the operating quality and the lack of torque in the centre remain, but do little to change the strong overall impression. All in all, it is an honest, versatile adventure bike that does not quite reach premium level, but is a real and serious alternative in terms of price and riding experience.

Excellent value for money

Fully adjustable suspension

Cultivated LC8c twin cylinder with strong lower and upper rev range

Surprisingly agile handling thanks to low tank and centre of gravity

Modern features as standard, where you have to pay extra for premium brands: Quickshifter, tyre pressure sensors, Motion Alert, Find My function

Noticeable rev gap between 5000-7000 rpm

switch quality and feel below premium level

cruise control cannot be deactivated by throttle reversal

navigation integration via the app cumbersome

Suzuki V-Strom 800DE 2025

Suzuki V-Strom 800DE 2025

It's amazing how much an unagitated, practical all-round motorbike like the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE can get into your heart. It doesn't flaunt its performance figures, it doesn't impress with its futuristic design, it doesn't clamour for attention. Instead, it does something much more important: it becomes more familiar, more reliable, more likeable with every kilometre ridden. After days of intensive use through challenging off-road terrain, this bike has turned out to be what you need most on long journeys - an unagitated, robust, uncompromising partner that simply works.

Cultivated, sensitively responsive engine with high running culture

excellent reponsiveness in all situations

robust, solid workmanship with a high level of confidence

balanced suspension for lengthy tours and moderate off-road

precise quickshifter as standard

practical seating position for sitting and standing

sufficient ground clearance and sensible suspension travel reserves

confident behaviour with extreme height differences and temperature changes

very robust overall impression

Sharp knee angle for riders with long legs on standard seat

maximum lean angle on tarmac brakes sporty riders

adjustable windscreen only with tools

no standard heated grips despite touring orientation

compact windscreen offers somewhat meagre wind protection

slightly higher weight than direct competitors interferes with manoeuvring
