Triumph Scrambler 900 2026

Triumph Scrambler 900 2026

The new Triumph Scrambler 900 is an amazingly profound evolution. It is more dynamic, more precise and has a more beguiling sound than ever before. Technically it is a masterpiece, emotionally a point of friction. Anyone looking for a purely retro bike may feel alienated. Anyone looking for a bike with a strong character for country roads, gravel tracks and weekend adventures could fall in love ... or become addicted. I'm torn between the two. And that is perhaps the greatest compliment I can pay a bike.

Precise reponsiveness

addictive sound

agile handling despite weight

suspension

modern electronics sensibly integrated

high driving dynamics

excellent turn-in behaviour

Loss of analogue cockpit romance

some accessories of older models not compatible

design too modern for traditionalists

Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally 2026

Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally 2026

The new Tenere 700 Rally is a fusion of the beautiful design of the previous Rally Edition, inspired by the old Teneres of the 80s and 90s, with the high-performance components of the Tenere 700 Extreme. The high-quality KYB suspension and successful, revised ergonomics make it a conqueror of all trails. Never before has it been possible to ride a standard Tenere so hard and at the same time so stylishly over hill and dale. But it also wants to be driven sportily through off-road terrain. An overly cosy throttle hand only suits the fast-working, sporty suspension to a limited extent and with the high seat height, you don't want to be looking for ground contact with your legs too often. However, those who are adept at conquering off-road tracks can have a lot of fun with the new Tenere 700 Rally. The new electronic features in no way diminish this riding pleasure.

Great, powerful engine

Beautifully responsive, very potent suspension

Many changes in detail that make the Tenere more practical than before

Easy to read, beautifully styled TFT display

ABS mode remains active when the emergency stop button is actuated

ABS button in the cockpit for quick deactivation of the ABS

Very good ergonomics, especially for upright riding

Ready for tough adventures ex works (except for the standard tyres)

No cruise control available for an extra charge

Strange indicator switches

No tubeless rims available

Somewhat limited space for large feet on the footrests
