KTM 990 Duke R 2026

KTM 990 Duke R 2026

The KTM 990 Duke R is a more versatile road bike. Its 947-cm³ twin-cylinder engine delivers powerful, precisely controllable torque from just above idle speed, combining 103 nm of torque with a surprisingly refined running character. The upright, supermoto-style ergonomics and wide handlebars make it a joy to ride on mountain passes, without displaying the nervousness that sometimes characterised earlier Dukes. The brakes, suspension and electronics are all of a high standard. It is therefore the clear choice for everyday use, country roads and fast mountain passes.

Powerful torque right from the lowest revs

Very smooth running and precise control

Stable suspension with excellent feedback

Upright and playful supermoto ergonomics

Powerful Brembo brakes requiring minimal lever effort

Comprehensive and user-friendly electronics

Highly practical for everyday use for such a sporty naked bike

Relatively acute knee angle

Comfort on very long stages is considered to be only limited

More than enough power for narrow roads
