Pros and Cons in comparison

Pros and Cons in comparison

Yamaha YZF-R6 2017

Yamaha YZF-R6 2017

The Yamaha R6 2017 is still a visually and dynamically radical supersport motorbike that is one of the best and probably the last of its kind. The EURO4 standard costs the 599 cubic in-line four-cylinder with titanium valves a whole 11 hp compared to the 2007/2008 model. Yamaha is clearly targeting hobby, amateur and professional racers who don't care about standard performance anyway. With more than 50 accessories, the R6 can be upgraded according to need and budget. However, everyone should be aware that this can cost a lot of money.

Strong, direct brakes

sharp looks

automatic gearshift

good wind protection

precise handling

high transparency

radical seating position unsuitable for touring

standard power only 118.4 hp

upgrade cost-intensive

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR 2024

The mere fact that the Kawa Ninja ZX-4RR with its high-revving Inline four-cylinder engine in bonsai format has no real competition makes it absolutely unique. The engine is also the absolute flagship, with a rev limit at 16,000 touring you'll be addicted to wind out a gear! The suspension, brakes and electronics are of a high height, but what is more surprising is that, despite all the sportiness, the bike is still very suitable for everyday use - the seating position is not as radical as on other supersports bikes.

Fun in-line four-cylinder

precise quickshifter with blipper

balanced handling

sporty and pleasant ergonomics

comprehensive electronics package

Engine needs to be kept happy

looks confusing with other Kawasakis
