The Z900SE is a more than capable naked bike that can keep up with many other bikes on the track, including supersports. The early limiter, the upright riding position, the shorter gearing, the ergonomics, the top performance: in view of all its racetrack weaknesses, which turn into strengths on the country road, these are precisely the reasons why the Z900SE is a more than worthy racetrack vehicle. Those chasing the last tenths or thousandths of a lap time, riding almost exclusively on the race track and not at all on the country road, are better served elsewhere, but for all those who occasionally attend a trackday, do not want to afford a separate trackday bike and pursue their motorbike passion mainly on the country road, the Z900SE is very well served.
