Equipment, wind protection and safety - the new Piaggio MP3 530 Exclusive has it all. With the 2023 update, the Italians have taken the three-wheel scooter to the next level and offer a very well-rounded package in this class. The weight, the high step-through and the long step arc could be an obstacle for the inexperienced, but thanks to reverse gear including a reversing camera, manoeuvring is made much easier.

The Yamaha Tricity is and remains a strange vehicle. Two wheels in the front definitely attract a lot of attention. But if you have little experience and want a stable scooter for city traffic, there is probably no better solution. Completely unagitated, the Tricity swallows potholes and is also good to use in bad weather. However, you shouldn't expect great acceleration or active cornering.
