Yamaha XSR900 GP 2024

Credible styling in the style of the 500 GP machines from around 1990 meets state-of-the-art components from the CP3 modular system. For the suspension components, Yamaha used high-quality, fully adjustable parts from KYB. The fork is the same as that used in the MT-09 SP. The sporty basic set-up is perfectly suited to this pretty retro racer. The standard electronic features are also impressive. All riding aids are lean angle-dependent, the quickshifter works first-class and there is even cruise control on board. If you can cope with the sporty riding position, you can enjoy a dream bike. Apart from the brakes, which could have a little more bite, we have no real criticism to make.

The new Speed Triple has a few things over its predecessor. It is stronger and smarter than the old model, revs higher and is lighter. Switching to the new model is worthwhile if you value these aspects and have the necessary change at hand. In return, you get a versatile motorbike that combines riding comfort for longer country road rides with the riding fun you want for the racetrack. Agile, handy, smart and powerful. This is the best way to describe the Speedy and it will definitely find at least as much favour among its fans as its predecessor.
