KTM 990 Duke 2024

The KTM 990 Duke is a bike with rough edges – in the truest sense of the word. It isn’t the perfect all-rounder, nor is it the most harmonious model in its class, but it has something that many other bikes lack: genuine character. Anyone looking for a naked bike that challenges and inspires them, that stirs the emotions and makes no compromises, will find a faithful companion in the Duke. It is the bike for individualists, for riders who are looking for something special and are prepared to make compromises to get it.

Extremely light at just 192 kg

A characterful twin-cylinder engine with plenty of acceleration

Extremely agile and playful handling

Rear-wheel ABS that is disengageable for sporty riders

Surprisingly comfortable ergonomics, even for taller riders

Great fun to ride on winding roads

The engine needs at least 3,000 rpm to run smoothly

The pricing policy for electronic driving aids, which involves additional charges, is a bit annoying

A slight tendency to be twitchy – take care at very high speeds when carrying luggage
