Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid 2024

Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid 2024

If you want, you can also conquer tough off-road terrain with it. However, if you don't have to cover long distances, you will prefer the lightness of the standard T7. The World Raid's wide tank is noticeable in its ergonomics and handling. The soft suspension, on the other hand, copes well with tough off-road terrain and, thanks to the steering damper, the bike remains very stable even on fast-flowing dirt tracks. The complicated deactivation procedure for the ABS is annoying in the long run, and a simple "off" button would be nice. All in all, the World Raid lives up to its name, especially for world travellers, and is very well thought out in this respect with a wide range and plenty of off-road comfort.

Stable riding performance

Comfortable seat

Greatly dimensioned engine - does not overtax and is a lot of fun

Very robust overall impression

Very reliable

Very tough

strong traction

Suspension offers a wide range of use

well dimensioned suspension

very practical

The great price/performance ratio of the Tenere was somewhat lost in the form of the World Raid

When standing still, the wide fuel tank is particularly annoying on uphill sections

On the road, the front brake is a little too lax

Off-road, the rear brake is a little too weak

clutch and throttle control are now better on other bikes in this class

The new 800 has become a real V-Strom that can do what a V-Strom has to do. An everyday motorbike in the most positive sense, a bike for everyday use as well as for long journeys. It will certainly also appeal to the many fans of the V-Strom 650, as it has a significantly more powerful engine with otherwise similar attributes.

superior, powerful engine

great quickshifter up/down as standard

good brakes

good seat comfort and wind protection

suitable for long distances

accessible seating position

Off-road, the suspension is under-damped and not fully adjustable

maximum lean angle too low for sporty riding

no cruise control available

No off-road ABS
