Honda NM4 Vultus 2016

The Honda NM4 Vultus is a motorbike that is sure to leave no one cold - whether you like it or not, the stunning stealth look definitely ensures increased attention. In typical Honda fashion, the tuturistic design also has practical aspects: A lockable compartment on the left side offers a 1-litre storage space as well as an on-board socket, the second compartment on the right side even offers three litres of capacity. The pillion seat can easily be converted into a driver's backrest and the display in the cockpit of the Stealth Jet can change colour 25 times. So great gadgets dominate the NM4 Vultus, but the technology is solid. The basis is the NC entry-level platform with a well-behaved parallel twin-cylinder engine, stable chassis and even DCT (dual clutch transmission) including automatic function as standard. This gives the Vultus the status of a particularly pleasant and easy-to-ride cruiser - which, however, with its exterior is aimed at particularly extroverts.

Eight new Softail models, and with the more powerful engines even 12 new models, are probably not enough. With the Sport Glide, Harley-Davidson sends another cruiser into the race that visually imitates the rigid frame. The 107cc engine with 1745 cubic capacity, 84 hp and 145 Newton metres of torque is fully adequate, the handling is extremely harmonious and yet agility is not neglected. The Sport Glide's strong point is its versatility: the baby batwing fairing and pannier set can be removed and re-installed in no time at all. Only the brakes could be a little more powerful - cruisers don't necessarily have to have single discs on the front...
