Yamaha YZF-R125 2021

The Yamaha YZF-R125 in the 2019 version makes journalists' lives difficult. You search and search for a fault, but can't find one - simply frustrating! Because the 15 hp single-cylinder with variable valve timing (VVA) performs excellently and is undoubtedly one of the best power units in the 125cc class. The handling is convincing in everyday life as well as on the racetrack, even if the chassis shows its sporty side on bumps. But we are on a super sports bike, so that is not a serious point of criticism. Maybe I need to ride the R125 for a few weeks to find its Achilles heel after all....

Honda CBR500R 2021

Honda CBR500R 2021

True supersport looks for everyday use. Despite its aggressive and credible styling, the CBR500R's everyday package is a delight. Low fuel consumption and a comfortable riding position make it a feel-good companion that has been significantly upgraded for 2022. The chassis and brakes now match the CBR's aspirations, and with the right accessories it shows its all-round qualities. Only the shock absorber leaves room for improvement when the going gets sporty.
