In terms of equipment, both motorcycles feature LED headlights. The Streetfighter V4 S also includes a TFT display, while the Panigale V4 does not have this feature.

Now, let's discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each motorcycle. The Streetfighter V4 S has an electronics package at the absolute top level, a high-revving and brutally powerful engine, very agile handling, a surprisingly comfortable seating position even for tall riders, powerful brakes, a sporty and high-quality chassis, great aerodynamics, and a striking appearance. However, it requires high revs for fear-inducing performance, has somewhat rough engine response in city traffic and everyday life, tippy handling at low speeds, and strongly changing engine noise depending on speed and flap position.

On the other hand, the Panigale V4 has clever electronics, a noticeable upgrade from the previous year's model, and is more accessible than ever before. Its weaknesses include a small fuel tank from an ergonomic standpoint and less stability during straight-line driving in wet conditions.

In conclusion, both the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S 2020 and the Ducati Panigale V4 2020 are high-performance motorcycles with their own strengths and weaknesses. The Streetfighter V4 S offers a more advanced electronics package, while the Panigale V4 has some upgrades from the previous model. Ultimately, the choice between the two will depend on the rider's preferences and intended use.

Pros and Cons in comparison

Pros and Cons in comparison

Ducati Streetfighter V4 S 2020

Ducati Streetfighter V4 S 2020

The bike has taken much of its sporty roots from the Panigale. This will delight friends of the streetfighter. Electronics and engine power are superior, the chassis is radically fast and the machine rules in stopwatch duels. However, it has rough edges. The big surprise: you sit well on the noble beast and can actually ride it on extended tours!

Electronics package at the absolute top level

High-revving and brutally powerful engine

Very agile handling

Surprisingly comfortable seating position even for tall riders

Powerful brakes

Sporty, high-quality chassis

Great aerodynamics - stable wind conditions even in the saddle

Looks to die for

For fear in the saddle, revs are necessary - no steam hammer from the basement

In city traffic and everyday life somewhat rough engine response

Tippy handling at low speeds

Strongly changing engine noise - depending on speed and flap position.

Ducati Panigale V4 2020

Ducati Panigale V4 2020

The conclusion is very easy for me. Ducati has made an "already almost perfect motorbike" even better without changing anything in a negative way. Although riding on the road with this radical fairing probably causes a stir and one or two riders find it uncomfortable, they obviously feel more comfortable with it on the race track. You get a motorbike "out of the box" that resembles a Superbike World Championship bike more than ever. I also believe that the V4 2018 owner is quite capable of improving his lap times with the 2020 version. My tip: if you take care to enlarge the tank or make it more grippy, you could go over the centre even more with your hull.

Clever electronics

Noticeable upgrade to last year's model

More accessible than ever before

Tank is too small from an ergonomic point of view

straight-line driving from 250km/h in the wet
