On the Ducati Hypermotard, you automatically feel cooler - from the moment you fire up the magnificent V2 to the moment you get off the saddle completely exhausted. Compared to other supermotos, the Ducati Hypermotard 950 needs to be ridden with determination, and that demands constant concentration. But it rewards this with brutal acceleration and a stable cornering position - no matter what speed. If you want to take an even sportier approach and perhaps make a detour to the race track now and then, you should go for the SP version. But for self-confident country road hunters, an excellent choice!

Despite its sportiness, Ducati's redesigned and equipped Supersport 950 /S offers a good degree of suitability for everyday use and sufficient power for the country road or occasional trackdays. If you want to remedy the last remaining shortcoming, the throttle response in the lower rev range, which is characterised by load changes, you could consider changing the secondary gear ratio from 15/43 to 14/43. The one-tooth smaller drive pinion costs only a few euros, improves throttle response at low revs and also keeps handlebar and mirror vibrations within acceptable limits.
