KTM 890 Adventure 2022 vs. Ducati DesertX 2023

The KTM 890 Adventure 2022 and the Ducati DesertX 2023 are both powerful enduro motorcycles with similar engine types, bore, stroke, starter, transmission, cylinders, and displacement. However, there are several differences between the two models.

Both motorcycles have double disk brakes at the front. In terms of strengths, the KTM 890 Adventure 2022 is praised for its proven and confident engine, comparatively low weight, improved chassis, more comfortable seat, combination of riding modes and ABS settings, excellent quickshifter, and being made in Austria. On the other hand, the Ducati DesertX 2023 is commended for its great chassis with fully adjustable suspension, sophisticated driving modes, powerful engine, powerful brakes, well-thought-out detail solutions, and extensive standard equipment.

However, the KTM 890 Adventure 2022 does have some weaknesses, including a non-adjustable windshield, limited suspension travel for hard terrain, and the need to purchase many useful extras at an additional cost. The Ducati DesertX 2023, on the other hand, has a few weaknesses such as a less smooth running engine in the lower rev range, slightly delayed suspension response, a very high and non-adjustable seat height, and limited space and lack of handholds for pillion riders.
