The Ducati Monster generates a whopping 147 hp and a powerful 124 Nm of torque from the 1200 cc water-cooled Testastretta twin cylinder. The overall concept of a light ready-to-ride total weight of 213 kg in combination with high-quality Öhlins suspension and top assistance systems makes the machine an almost perfect naked bike. Classic, timeless design paired with modern components make this Italo beauty an "insider tip" in times of 200 hp + hyper naked bike rockets! Small compromises have to be made with the wind protection and the quickshifter. The latter takes a little getting used to.
BMW F 800 R 2016
With a EURO4 engine, new riding modes, new instruments and new colours, the F 800 R starts the new season. It is recognisable at first glance only by the end cap on the stately stainless steel exhaust. It is one of those full-grown motorbikes that, despite its considerable sporting potential, was designed for the widest possible user group. Therefore, it is absolutely beginner-friendly (throttled), but can also inspire an experienced audience. Its character remains somewhat pragmatic, but the unmistakable, hollow sound of the inline two compensates for this.
