This boosts the peak power by 14 HP compared to the previous model, while torque sees a slight increase. Instead of a single throttle valve, Triumph now uses three 44 mm individual throttle bodies (throttle valves), aiming to refine the throttle response and sound character of the triple. The transmission has also been reworked. New shafts, adjusted gear ratios, and an optimized Triumph Quickshifter aim to ensure faster, more precise gear changes. A new anti-hopping clutch reduces lever effort and increases control—especially in urban traffic or during sporty riding.

The new, wider tank with pronounced knee indents and the redesigned front emphasize the sportier direction of the naked bike. Additionally, the handlebar has been widened to 815 mm.

The chassis remains nimble and agile, but now benefits from better tuning and more refined feedback. The Michelin Road 5 tires and Nissin brakes with 310 mm dual discs continue to inspire confidence in the twisties. With a wet weight of 195 kg and a seat height of 810 mm, the Trident remains accessible—especially for beginners or urban everyday use.

The Tiger Sport 660 combines the power boost with greater everyday usability. A new 18.6-liter tank increases the range, while revised fairing parts and optimized radiator shrouds are designed to offer better wind protection.

The comfort-oriented suspension remains, but the ergonomics have been refined. Despite the larger tank, the seat height stays low, making it accessible for riders of varying heights. New color options—Interstellar Blue/Mineral Grey and Silver Ice/Intense Orange—expand the lineup. The Tiger Sport 660 is thus aimed at those seeking a versatile motorcycle for everyday use, touring, and leisure.
