With the new Benelli TRK 902 Stradale, the Italian manufacturer expands its TRK lineup with a road-oriented touring variant. Technically based on the TRK 902 Xplorer, it is specifically designed for long-haul asphalt adventures.

Design and Ergonomics: Comfort in Focus
In contrast to the off-road-oriented Xplorer, the Stradale features a larger, transparent windshield that is electrically and continuously adjustable. It shares the same quadrilateral structure as its sibling model but remains optimized for touring comfort. The handguards have been newly shaped, as the indicators—traditionally for Benelli—are positioned on the side radiator covers.
For pure road use, the TRK 902 Stradale rides on 17-inch aluminum wheels both front and rear, fitted with Pirelli Angel GT II tires in sizes 120/70-17 and 180/55-17. The suspension travel is 130 mm, and the seat height is 805 mm—significantly lower than the Xplorer. Thanks to the altered geometry (rake and trail), the model aims to offer secure and easy-to-handle behavior, especially when fully loaded with a passenger and luggage.
904cc Twin: Same Engine, Optimized for Touring
As with the Xplorer, the Euro-5+ compliant 904cc parallel-twin engine is employed. It delivers 95.2 hp (70 kW) at 9,000 rpm and generates 90 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is tuned for strong torque delivery in the low to mid-range and features ride-by-wire with 46mm throttle bodies controlled by a Bosch Motronic ECU. A slipper clutch is also standard equipment.
Benelli TRK 902 Stradale Chassis and Brakes
The steel trellis frame with reinforcement plates, developed in Pesaro, is designed to offer high rigidity while maintaining agile handling. Up front, a 43mm Marzocchi upside-down fork is used, and at the rear, a monoshock with an aluminum swingarm and remote preload adjuster is featured. Braking is handled by a Brembo system with 320mm dual discs and radial monoblock calipers at the front, and a 260mm disc at the rear.
Electronics and Comfort Features of the TRK 902 Stradale
The TRK 902 Stradale comes equipped with an extensive electronics package designed to make long rides comfortable:
- 7-inch TFT color display with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity
- Three riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban)
- Switchable ABS front and rear
- Traction control
- Cruise control
- Quickshifter for clutchless gear changes
- TPMS tire pressure monitoring system
For long tours, heated grips and seat (with three settings), as well as a USB port, are standard features.
Optionally, Benelli offers crash bars, a luggage system, an app-controlled dashcam, and a radar system with a blind spot monitor that provides alerts via mirror and display indicators.
Fuel Tank, Range, and Practicality
The 20-liter metal tank remains compact in form, with the plastic cover only enclosing the upper section—leaving the lower part free for slim knee contact areas. With a stated consumption of 5 l/100 km, a long range is possible. The design, featuring dual-lens headlights and reinforced nylon passenger grips, is familiar from the TRK family but has been refined in detail to create a more harmonious overall look.
With the TRK 902 Stradale, Benelli caters to the growing segment of touring crossover bikes. While the Xplorer is aimed at gravel trips and light off-road terrain, the Stradale is targeted at riders who prefer long asphalt stretches with comfort and safety. According to the manufacturer, the market launch is planned for 2026. Both models—the Xplorer and the Stradale—are set to establish the new 900 platform as the foundation of a modular touring family.
