SW-MOTECH V-LOC System: A New Era for Motorcycle Saddlebags

Twenty years after the introduction of the tank ring, SW-MOTECH is unveiling the V-LOC System at EICMA 2025—a newly developed mounting system for saddlebags. The flat, V-shaped carrier made from forged steel employs integrated Fidlock magnets, guiding the bag into position with an audible click signaling secure attachment.

The idea: Attach and detach luggage easier than ever, without compromising safety. "After revolutionizing tank-mounted luggage solutions with our tank bags, we're now achieving a similar breakthrough for the rear of the bike," explains CEO Kai Jockel. The new carrier is exclusively compatible with V-LOC saddlebags, which are being introduced for the first time in Milan.

With the V-LOC System, SW-MOTECH launches a new era in bag mounting. Compatible with the Legend Gear and WP series, the system merges two styles—classic looks or waterproof functionality—under one principle: maximum simplicity with ultimate stability.

The rigid EVA structure keeps the bag in shape even when empty, while the V-LOC mount ensures a visually clean integration on the bike.

Both versions can be mounted and locked with one hand—a satisfying click sound signals the secure connection.

The V-LOC System introduces a new locking feature that prevents both removal and opening of the bag. A separate lock set allows for additional security of the mount and bag—a feature previously missing in SW-MOTECH's flexible luggage solutions.

In addition to the new system, SW-MOTECH expands its Legend Gear line with more products:

• Rear Bag LR3 - 6 to 12 liters capacity, ideal for day trips
• Tank Bag LT4 - 4 to 6 liters, with MOLLE lid attachment
• Leg Bag LA13 - small, practical side bag for on-the-go

In addition to the V-LOC System, SW-MOTECH also announces a completely new offroad product line. Developed in close collaboration with riders, it promises maximum durability, modularity, and weather protection—tested on Yamaha Ténéré 700 and KTM 450 EXC.

This new line, still unnamed, will also be presented at EICMA 2025. A highlight at the stand: the transport crate of the test motorcycles, offering a glimpse of the upcoming adventure products.
