Riding a motorcycle doesn't start with twisting the throttle, but with standing securely. If you're small and slight, you notice that immediately. That's exactly how it was for our beginner rider: at 163 cm tall and with a rather slim build, even swinging a leg over the bike became a challenge. But worse still was stopping - the moment when uncertainty and instability come together. Especially on the Triumph Speed 400, an actually light beginner-friendly bike, every stop at a traffic light felt like a small test of courage. Her toes barely reached the ground, but real confidence? None to be found.
It quickly became clear: without help in the form of gear, getting started in the motorcycle world would be unnecessarily hard. What was needed was a boot that not only protects but, above all, delivers one thing: height. And with it, control, stability, and safety.
