Ducati Multistrada V2: Wunderlich Introduces New Protection Gear

The new three-piece engine guard GUARD is designed to effectively protect the powerful engine of the Multistrada V2 from damage caused by tip-overs or crashes. With two mounting points on each side and a connecting brace, the force is distributed across four points, reducing stress peaks. According to Wunderlich, the compact structure further enhances rigidity and stability.

Guard protectors are included as standard. Made from durable plastic, they protect the pipes from scratches. The aluminum clamping and four-bolt fastening ensure a secure hold.

The guard bars are available in Black (#71201-002) and Red (#71201-003), each priced at 299 Euros.

The Wunderlich Radiator Guard EXTREME is designed to combine protection with airflow. The radiator's delicate fins are particularly vulnerable due to their exposed position in the wind. This guard prevents the intrusion of insects, stones, and debris without compromising cooling performance.

The design integrates seamlessly with the vehicle's aesthetics. The price for the black version is 159.90 Euros (#71271-002).

Tested in racing, the DOUBLESHOCK axle protection pads promise maximum protection for the fork, axles, braking system, as well as the swingarm and chain adjuster. Wunderlich highlights two technical features:

• Damping: Parts of the impact energy are absorbed.
• Progressive Friction Resistance: The longer the sliding contact, the greater the braking effect.

These features are intended to help shorten the slide path in the event of a crash. Wunderlich recommends using them in combination with the engine guard to achieve optimal protection.
