Stark Varg EX 2025 - More Range and Versatile Performance at Record Level
The drivetrain of the Stark VARG EX delivers an impressive 80 hp, making it the most powerful enduro bike on the market. Riders can individually adjust the performance, including power output, engine braking, and regeneration level, via a switch on the handlebar (5 modes available). Whether the agile handling of a 125cc two-stroke or the raw power of a 450cc four-stroke machine is called for, the electric drivetrain offers a high degree of adaptability. The 7.2 kWh honeycomb magnesium battery serves not only as an energy source but also as a load-bearing element, contributing to a lightweight and centralized design. With 20% greater range compared to the VARG MX, it can be fully charged in just two hours using the included charger. How far you get on that, of course, depends heavily on riding style and terrain. In absolute figures, Stark states a riding time of 1.3 to 6 hours.
Electric Enduro with Street Legality - Stark Varg EX 2025
The VARG EX is more than just an off-road marvel: it's fully street legal. Riders are permitted to use it legally on public roads in countries across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of the USA. The paradox: despite 80 hp peak power, it's approved for the A1 license class. Electric two-wheelers, with their variable engine output, operate in a certain legal gray area. During the homologation process, power is measured over a certain period, and individual power peaks are allowed to exceed the 15 hp limit - which is how the Stark Varg EX makes it into the A1 class. Thanks to its compatibility with the A1 license, or even a car license in some countries, the VARG EX makes enduro riding accessible to a broader target audience. It offers several features necessary for street legality:

You're allowed to take the wild Stark Varg EX out onto public roads - even with just an A1 license.
- Patented flexible turn signals, integrated into the front light mask, made from robust optical silicone.
- A 4,000-lumen headlight, three times brighter than those of the competition.
- An integrated license plate holder.

The turn signals of the Stark Varg EX are elegantly housed in the light mask.
Stark Varg EX Electric Enduro 2025 - High-End Materials and Premium Components
The steel chassis of the VARG EX is designed to offer a high degree of vertical and horizontal flexibility, providing better grip and control in corners. The lightweight carbon rear frame also serves as a cooling duct for the drivetrain. Suspension duties are handled by a specially tuned KYB setup, with a USD fork offering a massive 300 mm of travel at the front and a linkage-mounted shock with 310 mm of travel at the rear. Beyond that, the Varg EX is equipped with off-road-specific components made from premium materials.

Serious suspension travel and a vehicle weight of only 120 kg allow the Varg EX to be thrashed very sportily over rocks and roots.

Stark Varg EX 2025 Electric Enduro - Smartphone & Connectivity with Essential Features
When it comes to the display and connectivity, the Varg EX takes its own approach. It's equipped with the Stark Arkenstone, a military-grade Android device that's integrated into the bike but can also be removed like a smartphone. The device doesn't just serve as a classic cockpit display - it also offers several functions for controlling navigation and the bike. The features of the Stark Arkenstone are:
- GPS track recording and turn-by-turn navigation, developed according to Stark with a leading map provider.
- Real-time adjustment of power, engine braking, and regeneration settings.
- Community options to upload routes and follow other riders' tracks.

The VARG EX also gets a revised switch unit with a waterproof and shock-resistant aluminum housing, where the special cable routing is designed to provide additional protection against damage.
Stark Varg EX 2025 - E-Enduro with a Focus on Sustainability
Sustainability has been a central theme at Stark Future since the company's founding in 2020, which is why the Varg EX is also designed to be as efficient and environmentally friendly as possible. Its electric drivetrain eliminates the need for conventional components like pistons, clutches, and oil changes, bringing maintenance costs down to a level comparable to mountain bikes. Silent, emission-free, and environmentally friendly, it aims to deliver an exciting riding experience with a minimal ecological footprint. Small detail solutions, such as protective components made from biodegradable bioplastic, and a two-year warranty further improve the balance.

Every time the engine crash bar takes a hit, small pieces break off. That's the case with every bike. But instead of this microplastic lingering forever, the engine crash bar on the Varg EX is made from bio-PU, which breaks down in nature after about two weeks.
