Modeka describes the Hydron Suit as a reliable touring companion, distinguished by revolutionary multifunctionality and membrane technology. Durability is also said to be ensured through the quick-absorbing and fast-drying Tactel material. Since off-road terrain in particular can lead to abrasion and heavier strain, Modeka uses stretch-capable and resistant outer material according to their website. Large ventilation slits are also meant to provide sufficient breathability. To carry along necessary small items like a phone and wallet, spacious pockets are a definite must. The Hydron jacket features, among other things, a removable, waterproof lumbar pocket. It is available in two colors, a lighter grey and a dark grey.

Experience with the Modeka Hydron Lady gear
The Modeka Hydron combo spends a week in Spain
With the Scrambler test week in Spain approaching, I set out in search of a promising textile combo. Ideally, it would bring together comfort, functionality, weather resistance, and practical usefulness. In the end, my choice fell on the Hydron line from the brand Modeka.

I wore the women's Hydron Suit for a week in Barcelona. There, riding took place at temperatures ranging from 10 to 22 degrees. The material and also the weight of the gear proved to be very comfortable, and especially on longer rides in the warmth, it became clear that a bit of sweat is no problem either. The jacket and pants performed well in terms of comfort, functionality, and reliability alike. The Hydroflex membrane was easy to remove/attach and proved very useful with its versatile applications. This versatility then also crept into my cornering technique, and on uneven terrain there was brief contact with the rocky ground. Of course, in this context pretty much any textile reaches its limits, but I would have wished for a bit more resistance alongside the functionality. Overall, though, the set does a good job and scores points with its pleasant and quite adaptable material.
For the combination of both pieces, you pay 590 Euro. The jacket alone costs 330 Euro. The products can be purchased on the Modeka website.
Conclusion: Modeka Hydron Lady gear put to the test
The Modeka Hydron Lady gear impresses in a week-long test at 10 to 22 degrees with high wearing comfort and low weight. The material and cut fit comfortably, and even on longer rides in warm conditions the Tactel material remains pleasant, as it quickly absorbs and dries sweat. Comfort, functionality, and reliability of the jacket and pants are convincing, and the Hydroflex membrane is easy to remove and versatile to use. Large ventilation slits ensure breathability, and the removable waterproof lumbar pocket along with other spacious pockets are practical. However, brief contact with rocky ground shows that a bit more resistance would be desirable. The combo costs 590 Euro, the jacket alone 330 Euro. For touring riders looking for comfortable, adaptable gear for moderate temperatures, it's a good choice, as comfort and membrane flexibility are convincing.
