KTM Novelties 2027 at EICMA
From Super Duke to Enduro: the model updates at a glance
New technology for the Super Dukes, more features on the Adventures, and fresh colors for the SMC and Enduro: KTM presented its novelties for 2027 at EICMA. We give you an overview of the big and small updates.
KTM spanned a wide arc at EICMA 2026 in Milan: from the 125 for beginners through the Adventure range up to the big Super Dukes. While some models mainly got new colors, KTM upgraded others with cockpits, brakes and gearbox technology. Here are the most important updates for the 2027 model year.
KTM 1390 Super Duke GT: 190 hp for touring
The KTM 1390 Super Duke GT, first presented back in 2024, returned to the spotlight with the announced dealer launch in early 2027. According to KTM, its 1,350cc V2 produces 190 hp and 145 Nm. The package includes semi-active WP suspension, a new 8.8-inch touchscreen TFT with offline map navigation, and adaptive cruise control. A standard adjustable windscreen, the integrated SP Connect mount, and reworked seat ergonomics are meant to make longer stages more comfortable. The GT pairs this with a manual six-speed gearbox.
KTM 1390 Super Duke GT EVO shifts with AMT
With the GT EVO, KTM gave the sport tourer a variant with Automated Manual Transmission. The AMT allows both manual shifting and fully automatic operation, in each case without a clutch lever. Engine and basic equipment match the GT. The key difference therefore lies in gearbox operation, which is meant to take the load off especially when pulling away, maneuvering, and on long tours.
KTM 1390 Super Duke R with new cockpit
The KTM 1390 Super Duke R got two new color variants for 2027, in orange and black. On the black version, the frame is also finished entirely in black. Technically, the focus was on a new 8.8-inch touchscreen TFT with offline map navigation, new handlebar switches, and a revised riding mode concept. Up front, Brembo HyPure brake calipers are now used, which KTM says improve precision and control. The R retains its manually adjustable WP APEX suspension.
KTM 1390 Super Duke R EVO stays a manual shifter
The R EVO also received the new colors, the larger cockpit, the navigation, and the HyPure brakes. Its difference from the R remains the semi-active WP suspension with electronically adjusted damping. When it comes to gearbox choice, it's worth taking a close look at the name: the R EVO sticks with a conventional manual gearbox. The AMT belongs to the GT EVO.
KTM 390 Adventure R with optional cruise control
For the KTM 390 Adventure R, one equipment detail for longer distances took center stage. A new left switch unit enables activation of the optional cruise control. With this, KTM added an operating option to the small adventure bike that is meant to provide more comfort especially on connecting stages. The cruise control remains an option.
KTM 390 Adventure X announced with TFT
For the period after EICMA, KTM also announced a revised 390 Adventure X. It was promised two new color options and a TFT display. According to the announcement, availability was planned from around December.
KTM 790 Adventure gets a black look
The KTM 790 Adventure appeared in a new black look for 2027. The previous selection of orange and white variants thus gave way to a darker design. The design update gives the Adventure a more understated appearance.

KTM 125 Enduro rounds out the entry-level lineup
The KTM 125 Enduro rounds out the small models with new colors. As a dual-sport model, it formed the counterpart to the 125 SMC and complemented the revised entry-level lineup.
KTM's show appearance with a further off-road outlook
