Honda V3R 900 E-Supercharger at EICMA 2025

Honda unveiled a prototype of the V3R 900 with E-Supercharger at EICMA 2025 in Milan. According to Honda, the V3R 900 E-Supercharger was designed following the "Non-Rail Roller Coaster" development principlecombining precise control with emotional dynamism. The goal is to create a motorcycle that seamlessly blends riding excitement with safety.

Technical Concept: V3 Engine with Electronic Supercharger

The centerpiece is the new 75° V3 engine with 900 cc displacement, which was already showcased as a concept at EICMA 2024. Honda now confirms that the engine will be combined with an electronically driven superchargera world first in motorcycle engineering.

The compact design of the unit is intended to contribute to weight reduction and a streamlined vehicle layout. This E-Supercharger is designed to precisely control boost pressure, enabling high torque even at low RPMs. According to Honda, this allows the power delivery to reach the level of a 1,200 cc engine, while simultaneously enhancing efficiency and being more environmentally friendly.

Design and Appearance: Asymmetry with Symbolic Power

Visually, the prototype stands out with asymmetrical side panels, which, according to Honda, are intended to emphasize the technical character of the motorcycle. The tank emblem in the "Honda Flagship WING" design also marks the beginning of a new design line that will be featured in the manufacturer's future top models.

Philosophy: Vision 2030 and "Joy of Mobility"

The Honda V3R 900 E-Supercharger embodies the Vision 2030, in which Honda aims to realize "the joy of carefree and entertaining mobility." The development team seeks to create a motorcycle with the V3R 900 E-Supercharger that goes beyond technical innovation and sets new standards for an emotional riding experience.

Production Date Not Yet Set

With the unveiling of the V3R 900 E-Supercharger, Honda provides a concrete glimpse into the next stage of development for sporty road motorcycles. The prototype aims to demonstrate that performance, efficiency, and safety don't have to be mutually exclusive but can be integrated into a new concept.

Even though the production model might take some time to arrive, the V3R 900 E-Supercharger marks an exciting step in Honda's future strategy.
